Before it becomes a light, travertine spends thousands of years forming in layers around natural springs. Its pores, quiet veining and shifts from cream to sand aren't added afterwards. They're the stone's own record.
Around the bulb, that warm, pale stone takes the edge off the light. You get a low, grounded glow below and a soft halo on the stone itself, never a bare, glaring bulb.

Naturally, no two match
Pores, veining and tone vary from shade to shade. That's expected in real stone, and it's what makes yours one of a kind.
Pores Tiny cavities left by water and time. Honing smooths the surface but keeps them visible, so the shade reads as stone, not plastic.
Veining Soft horizontal bands formed as the stone settled in layers. Every shade is cut from a different part of the block.
Tone Travertine shifts naturally from cream to sand to honey. Your shade will sit somewhere in that range, and warm up further once lit.
Practical notes: real stone is heavier than it looks, so make sure your ceiling box is rated for a pendant and have it installed by a licensed electrician. To clean, dust with a soft, dry cloth and avoid vinegar, citrus or abrasive cleaners, which can etch natural stone.

Is it real travertine?
Yes. The shade is made from natural travertine stone, honed smooth so it's pleasant to touch but with its pores and veining left visible. It's paired with a wood band and metal fittings.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Close, but never identical. Pores, veining and tone vary from shade to shade, which is normal for natural stone and part of what makes each light one of a kind.
Is a bulb included?
Yes. Each head comes with an LED bulb in warm white (3000K) on a standard E27 socket, so it's easy to replace later.
How do I choose between the long and round ceiling plate?
The long plate hangs three shades in a straight line, ideal over a kitchen island or rectangular table. The round plate clusters them together, which suits round tables, stairwells and entryways.
How high should it hang?
A good starting point is 30–36 in (76–91 cm) from the counter or table to the bottom of the shade. The cord adjusts up to 59 in (150 cm) and is set to length during installation.
Is it heavy? What do I need to install it?
It's real stone, so it's noticeably heavier than resin or plastic lookalikes. It's a hardwired ceiling fixture and mounting hardware is included. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician and a ceiling box rated for a pendant.
Can I dim it?

How do I care for travertine?
