No, which lets you pick the light you want. Any standard E26 bulb up to 60W fits. For the warm glow in our photos, use a 2700K LED. Smart bulbs and dusk-to-dawn sensor bulbs work too.
For a standard 80″ front door, Medium (15.4″) is the classic choice. Small (12.2″) suits back doors, garages and tight walls. Large (16.1″) suits tall or double doors and homes seen from further away. If you're torn, go bigger.
For a front door, two (one each side) looks balanced and lights the step evenly. A single light works well beside a side door, garage or along a path.
It's hardwired: it connects to an existing outdoor junction box and is controlled by your regular wall switch. If you're replacing an old fixture it's usually a direct swap. We recommend a licensed electrician for any electrical work.
