The Plafonnier Ceiling Lamp from Calmvani brings vintage Bauhaus design into a modern ceiling fixture, pairing a glass disc silhouette with a natural wood frame for warm, organic contrast. Available in a vibrant orange or a clean white, it suits mid-century modern interiors, bedrooms, bathrooms, bars, and galleries alike, adding a sculptural moment to a room without overwhelming it. The rounded glass form reads as art as much as it does lighting, giving a ceiling a focal point instead of an afterthought.
The fixture is hardwired and mounts flush to the ceiling, wired through a standard wall switch that is not included. It takes an E26 or E27 base and works with LED or Edison-style bulbs; a flat, wide flying-saucer style bulb is recommended to fill the glass disc shape for the fullest visual effect, though a standard round bulb also works well if that style isn't on hand. It runs on AC 110 to 240V and is rated IP20 for indoor use only, so it should stay clear of direct water exposure.
At 11 inches in diameter and 11 inches tall, the Plafonnier holds a confident presence without taking over a small room, making it equally at home as a single statement piece in a bedroom or repeated across a hallway or gallery wall. Because it is a hardwired fixture, professional installation by a licensed electrician is recommended to keep the wiring safe and code-compliant.
